Our Supplier Diversity Program
Willdan’s Supplier Diversity Program is founded on our commitment to
partnering with and
utilizing diverse businesses to the greatest extent possible. We recognize that supplier
diversity is a
critical element to our success, as well as a matter of policy and national interest for
social and
economic benefit.
We proactively identify and recruit diverse suppliers to be a part of the Willdan Team, and
to
participate on projects ranging from municipal engineering to large utility energy
efficiency programs. We
conduct significant due diligence to ensure that our partners are capable, competent, and
effective.
Willdan’s commitment is not only to meet diverse supplier goals. We are dedicated to mentor,
outreach,
and identify greater participation opportunities among women, minority, service-disabled
veteran, and
LGBTQ-owned business vendors as program opportunities are anticipated and identified. We
foster a vigorous
open network to build and expand upon our vendor base, including Trade Allies. All new
opportunities,
based on scope, location, and other factors, are reviewed to identify where the services of
diverse
businesses are applicable.
