SDG&E Comprehensive Audit Program

Willdan Energy Solutions (Willdan), through a contract awarded by San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E®), implements the Comprehensive Audit Program (CAP) in SDG&E service territory. The Comprehensive Audit Program is designed to assist Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural customers to identify solutions that provide the best savings and opportunities for their business.

The program offers a high-level audit or a detailed investment grade audit, depending on the needs of your business.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Premises have not had an audit within the last 3 years paid for by SDG&E
  • Has a monthly on-peak demand of 100 kilowatts (kW) or greater for three consecutive months (if multiple meters are present at premises for one customer, meter usage can be aggregated by premises and customer to meet demand threshold)
  • Currently billed on a commercial, industrial or agricultural Time-of Use rate by SDG&E
  • Customer must have occupied premises for a minimum of 6 months
  • ES is available to all business customers whose monthly electrical demand does not exceed 200kW during the most recent 12-month period.
  • Eligibility is based on the “premise” level. Electricity demand from accounts that belong to the same business customer within the same premise will be aggregated.

Programs are funded by California utility customers and administered by San Diego Gas & Electric® (SDG&E) under the auspices of the California Public Utilities Commission. Rebates and incentives will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, until funds are no longer available or until termination of the program. The On-Bill Financing program may be modified or terminated without prior notice and is provided to qualified customers on a first-come, first-served basis until program funds are no longer available.
