The Northern Kittitas County Tribune of Washington featured news about Puget Sound Energy’s (PSE) blitz in May and June offering free energy efficiency upgrades to small businesses in the region. For three days, PSE operated a pop-up storefront to draw attention to and facilitate the campaign.

The Tribune article featured a photo of Willdan employee Brandon Monteith installing an LED bulb for a business in Cle Elum (photo courtesy of PSE), and quoted another Willdan employee: “John Brubeck, an energy efficiency consultant with Willdan Energy Solutions working on behalf of PSE, says that one of the hardest parts of these door-to-door blitzes is getting people to believe that they are actually providing the new fixtures and labor for free.”
