John Knipe, City Engineer in Willdan's Ventura office, spoke on behalf of the City of Westlake Village at the ground breaking ceremony on September 25 for the Lindero Canyon Road/101 Overpass Reconstruction project. Willdan provided project management, civil, traffic and structural engineering design services out of the Ventura, Anaheim and Industry offices.

The $5.2 million project, funded through Measure M by L.A. County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), will widen Lindero Canyon Road from two lanes to three lanes in each direction. The widening involves modifications to the two-span pre-stressed box girder bridge, on- and off-ramps, roadway curb, gutter, and raised median, and new combination bike path/sidewalk.
