In November 2012, California voters approved the California Clean Energy Jobs Act which will transfer $550 million annually from the General Fund to the Clean Energy Job Creation Fund for a period of five years. California schools will benefit tremendously from this significant funding source through improvements to facilities and reductions in ongoing energy bills.
To discuss implementation and planning issues and answer questions about Prop 39, Paul Whitelaw, Senior VP at Willdan, and Chikezie Nzewi, Energy Efficiency Engineer at Willdan, joined with Greg Hayes, California Select Committee on Energy Efficiency, and Tim Marsh, Newport-Mesa Unified School District Administrative Director, to present a webinar co-hosted by Willdan and Keenan & Associates on June 19, 2013.
