Ryan Rodriguez, Certified Energy Manager in Willdan Energy Solutions' Monrovia office, was elected at the May annual installation dinner of the ASHRAE Tri-County Chapter to serve as its President-Elect/Vice President for the 2013-2014 term.

The mission of ASHRAE (American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers) is to advance the arts and sciences of heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigerating to serve humanity and promote a sustainable world.

As President-Elect, Ryan will serve as Society Secretary; additionally he performs duties assigned by the Board of Directors or the President, such as making arrangements for the Chapter's meetings and events, meeting regularly with the Board of Directors, promoting ASHRAE awareness, and performing the duties of the President in his absence. The position automatically succeeds to the executive office of the President at the conclusion of the current President's term.
