The Florida City County Management Association presented its President's "If You Care, You Do" Award for Meritorious Service to Lee R. Evett, WFS Southeast Operations, at its annual awards luncheon on June 1. The award, the Association's highest, is given in recognition of outstanding service and commitment to the city and county management profession.

During the FCCMA Annual Conference, Mr. Evett was part of a panel on "The Florida of 2032", a lively and well-attended discussion of what the cities of the future would look and act like, and what their sources of revenue and expenditures would be. Additionally, he gave a presentation entitled "The Psychology of Leadership in Times of Crisis."
