The American Society of Civil Engineers Orange County branch, at its annual Awards Banquet on February 18 2010, honored the Fountain Valley Recreation Center Expansion project with a Project Achievement Award.

The City of Fountain Valley expanded its heavily-used Mile Square Park by almost 50%, adding new ball parks, trails, roads, and buildings. Willdan Engineering provided a full redesign of plans, specifications and estimates as well as complete Project Management / Construction Management.
