Small Business and Retail Chains
The scale and geography of small businesses can make delivery of energy savings a challenge. In addition, small business owners have diverse and demanding interests and may not feel they have time for energy efficiency. As the implementer of several small business outreach, survey, and install programs, Willdan has established a comprehensive vertical market management strategy to engage business owners and help small businesses achieve energy and financial savings. This vertical market strategy is carried throughout our contractor recruitment, training, and management, outreach and sales, and tracking and oversight functions.
Willdan is one of the preeminent providers of small business energy efficiency programs across the country and has run the largest direct install program in the country since 2009 – the Con Edison Small Business Direct Install Program. In addition to the programs highlighted below, Willdan is currently delivering small business energy efficiency programs for Snohomish County Public Utility District (SnoPUD) and Puget Sound Energy in Washington, Southern California Edison, and SDG&E.
